Mouse Trap, Anyone?!?

Oh great!  I think I have a mouse in the house.  What leads me to this conclusion, you ask?

My two cats have been acting so strange since the big snow storm.  They just sit and stare at my garage door.

Then, just when I seem to get comfortable on the couch a DVR full of TV shows that I want to get caught up on, they let out the loudest cy that I’ve ever heard from a cat.

Sarah suggested that I simply open the door and see what happens.  I figured it’s worth a try.  The only “great outdoors” that these animals have ever seen was the highway from Chicago to Rockford.  They’re totally ‘indoor cats.’  So I gave it a show.  They went into the garage … lasted three minutes and came back inside.  I guess it was too cold for them.

Well, tomorrow I’ll have to put some Decon down.  With my luck, the mouse will get inside, and one of my cats will bring it me while I’m in bed.
